DoReMi was founded in 2012 by Giorgi and Mamuka, two friends with a common passion for quality wine. The winery is located in the Georgian wine region of Kakheti, in the village of Ozhio, close to the Alazani River and north of the Caucasus Mountains. The vineyards, located in the regions of Kartli, Imereti and Kakheti, are organically cultivated. The wines are produced according to ancient local traditions, with no industrial yeast or additives in the process, and fermentation and aging in Qvevri, the traditional clay pots used in Georgia.

This wine is made with 100% indigenous Kisi grapes organically grown. Fermentation takes place in Qvevri according to the traditional Georgian winemaking techniques.

The DoReMi Kisi is an orange wine with pungent aromas of apricot, quince, fig, red baked apple, and sweet spices. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied with nice fruity intensity and soft tannins. The acidity is balanced and the finish is elegant and long. The wine shows a good aging potential and works very well with roast turkey and chicken, veal, and mountain hard cheese.
